The case for buying less furniture
Most rooms fill up gradually, one convenient purchase at a time, until nothing in the space was actually chosen — it just arrived.
HAVEN starts from the opposite question: what does this room actually need, and what's the best possible version of that single thing? A lounge chair you'll keep for fifteen years is a better investment than three you'll replace.
The result isn't minimalism for its own sake. It's a room where every object earns the space it takes up.
